A few days before this, we were in the kitchen working on supper and Hazel was playing in the living room by herself. We were startled to hear what sounded like serious tears, and hurried to check on the little one. Instead of tears, we found serious giggles. Hazel had discovered an empty bottle, and had figured out on her own that she could make funny sounds by talking into the mouth of it. It's never too early to learn how to make yourself laugh!
