We have been trying to get out more on the weekends, now that the weather is just a little bit nicer. A trip to Afton State Park was in order on this sunny Sunday. We ended up walking, although we had intended to snowshoe. We also ended up carrying Hazel in an improvised sling, made from the sheet we keep in the back of the car for keeping the dog hair out of the upholstery. The baby carrier was left at home, and we were too far away to turn around! It worked pretty well, and Hazel even got a nap in it.
After about a mile of walking (mostly uphill) it was time for a snack. Hazel had half a banana.
